Rental Contract : Terms and Conditions
Herein the Company that this quotation is addressed to, delivered to, approved by is referred to as B “Client” and VRS IT SMART SOLUTIONS PVT LTD., is referred to as the “Company”.
Possession: The equipment is deemed to be in the possession by the Client from the start of the rental period by either Collection from our premises by the Client or delivery by the Company to the end of the rental period by either return by the Client to our premises or collection by the Company.
Damage and Loss of Equipment: The Client is responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment while in the Client’s possession. Moreover, If the equipment is damaged by anyone or any cause whatsoever and requires repair or is lost or damaged beyond repair, the Client is liable to pay for repair costs or replacements costs.
Rental Period: The rental period is defined as the time the equipment leaves the Company’s premises by delivery of Company or collection by the Client, to the time and date it is returned to the Company’s premises by Company or the Client. Or (as per the agreed terms by both parties). This is on a Case to Case basis.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of a confirmed order within 72 hours of the delivery/collection time will result in a charge equivalent to 25% of the value of the confirmed order. There will be no cancellation fee after 3 days with the exception of any purchase or costs for sourcing goods or services already incurred by the Company for the confirmed order for which the Client will be liable.
Refund Policy: The Refund Policy is applicable strictly on the Deposit amount and not the Confirmed Rental amount. In case a person wants to return their Digital Equipments before the said Rental Contract, it is only the Deposit Amount which would be refunded.
Modifications: The Customer may at any time request any additional equipment or services. If the additions are confirmed after confirmation or after delivery/collection of initial order, a new LPO will need to be raised for the additional equipment. If the additional equipment is added within 48 hours of delivery/collection time, the additions will be subject to our cancellation policy.
GST: GST@ 18% included in the above mentioned quotation.
Software: No Software, Data Backup & Virus support will be provided.
Jurisdiction / Governing Law: In case of any dispute, Only Secunderabad Court has jurisdiction. The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject only to the Secunderabad Court Jurisdiction.
Confirmation: Confirmation is based on the form of LPO with company stamp and signature by an approved representative of the Client’s organization. For any confirmed orders less than 48 hours before delivery/collection time, the Company, while it makes best efforts to deliver the services, cannot guarantee the availability of equipment and services.
Security Deposit: This amount is provided by the customer only when he/she is unable to furnish any of the Government ID proofs. The Security Deposit varies from one Laptop to the other and differs based on the Brand. Moreover, the amount is refundable only when the Laptop is returned in the same Working condition, irrespective of any Physical damage to it. Furthermore, the Security Deposit is no less a protection of the Company Asset and is different from the Rental Contract.
